Activities

From gardening and garden parties to bowling, bus trips and visiting entertainers.

Our Well-being Co-ordinators offer our residents a wide range of activities, enabling them to lead full and happy lives in a supported environment. Our nature park and gardens provide walks and outings along wheelchair-friendly paths, taking in the views and meeting our resident birds and animals. Many residents love gardening and help to tend our award-winning flower displays. In the summer months we hold garden parties for residents, their families, and the local community.

Our in-house gym is fully supervised by trained staff, making it safe and easy to build or maintain strength and mobility. For residents wanting to relax, we have several comfortable lounges plus a library and coffee shop, which hosts frequent events with visiting entertainers. We also welcome local students and schoolchildren to enjoy activities with our residents.

We work to support our residents’ independence and give them access to activities they enjoyed before they joined us – such as trips to the football, or to get fish and chips. We also have visits from vintage buses, which take our residents on sightseeing trips around Swansea Bay.
