Hengoed Care is a family run Care Home, situated on the outskirts of Swansea set in a twelve-acre peaceful surround.
Mr Davies and his family are involved in the running of Hengoed Care on a daily basis. Although we can never replace your own home, at Hengoed Care we aim to provide the next best thing. We believe that everyone should be valued as an individual and that by working in partnership with our residents, their relatives, friends and carers, we maintain and promote the wellbeing of each and every person in our care.
Many of our staff are local and have worked with us since we first opened the doors in 1987. Many of our residents are also local helping to create the homely and friendly community atmosphere within the home.
Our home managers and lead nurses head up a team of fully qualified nurses who are supported by trained, dedicated carers and staff to ensure around- the-clock service. Our staff receive on-going training and are continuously assessed to ensure a consistently high standard of care is given. Hengoed Care is a member of the Care Forum Wales and is regulated by the Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales. The Home accepts placements by Social Services, Local Health Authority, N.H.S. Continuing Care and private funded clients.
