A luxury, family-run care home with stunning
views across Swansea Bay

Hengoed Court a luxury Care Home, strives to provide the highest quality residential, nursing and dementia care, with tastefully decorated spacious lounges and airy ensuite bedrooms. The Home is laid out over 4 floors with each floor consisting 3 individual units with a maximum of 12 bedrooms. Each unit has its own lounge, dining and kitchen area. Lounges have access to patio areas, some overlooking the Nature Park, Crmlyn Burrows and Swansea Bay. The first two floors will provide personal care for residents with dementia.

Our aims and objectives are to provide a personalised care service which fully meets each individual resident’s needs, and to do this to a standard that embraces all the current principles of good care practice.

At Hengoed Court our philosophy of care is to provide the best possible care to our residents whilst promoting dignity, privacy, independence and self-respect in a caring and homely atmosphere.

Mr Davies and his family are involved in the running of Hengoed Court on a daily basis. Although we can never replace your own home, at Hengoed Court we aim to provide the next best thing.

Here at Hengoed Court we are very proud of our Management & Staff and continually invest in their development.  Many of our staff have been with us since we opened.

A 12-acre lakeside park bringing all the therapeutic benefits of time spent in nature.

Resident and carer at Hengoed Nature Park

Our 12-acre nature park is a focal point for our residents, their families, and the local community. Set around a lake that’s home to families of swans and ducks, it has wheelchair-friendly paths and viewpoints overlooking Crymlyn Burrows and Swansea Bay.

Our nature park prompts happy memories with the help of painted murals depicting popular local landmarks of the present and the past – including the Big Apple, the Mumbles lighthouse, and the historic Mumbles train. Residents and their families are encouraged to explore, meeting our resident ponies, sheep, rabbits, lovebirds, peacocks and doves.

Many of our residents love gardening, and we support them in tending our gardens, which produce award-winning displays of flowers in the summer months. When the weather is less obliging, residents and their families and friends can enjoy views of our nature park from our coffee shop, where free refreshments are always available – and many residents’ rooms have views of our nature park and the surrounding scenery.
