Working in Partnership
We’re passionate about helping our residents forge links with people from the surrounding community. Bringing the older and younger generations together has huge value for our residents’ happiness and wellbeing and is enriching for the young people who interact with them.
With this in mind, we work with with parent and toddler group and local junior schools.
We also sponsor local football teams and work with various charities as well as local secondary schools and colleges, welcoming their health and social care students on placements as part of their courses.
We have a volunteer group of all ages, many of whom have had relatives at Hengoed Care. They take part in activities with our residents, brightening their days with activities in our home and grounds.
We are strong believers in collaboration and work closely with external healthcare bodies and care providers.
We’re excited to be continually creating new partnerships that enhance our residents’ lives as well as bringing benefits to the community and the wider world of social care.
